RBS appoints Alison Rose as its new Chief Executive


  • The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has appointed Alison Rose (age 49 years) as its new Chief Executive. Alison replaced Ross McEwan, and She will be taking his position on 1st November 2019.
  • Prior to taking up this assignment, She has served as the Deputy-Head of the group's NatWest Holdings retail business and its commercial and private banking division.
  • She will become the only woman to have lead one of Britain's so-called "Big Four" banks (Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, and RBS).
