Anil Kumar Jain Took Over as New Coal Secretary

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Anil Kumar Jain as Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change as Secretary, Ministry of Coal.
A. K. Jain is a 1986-batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
A. K. Jain succeeds Sumanta Chaudhuri, a 1985-batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre.
