Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yusuf Hamied receives Royal Society honor

The chairman of Cipla Dr. Yusuf Hamied (age 83 years) has been elected an honorary fellow of the UK Royal Society for his service to the cause of science.
In 2019, Around 51 new Fellows and 10 foreign members were elected to the UK Royal Society.
Y. K. Hamied is a Polish-born-Indian scientist. In 2005, He was awarded Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honor by President of India (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam).
