International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer Observed on 16th September

World Ozone Day offers an opportunity to focus global attention and action on the vital environmental issue of protection of the Ozone Layer.
"Keep Cool and Carry on”: The Montreal Protocol is the theme of 24th World Ozone Day celebrations.
The Ozone layer is a fragile shield of gas which protects the Earth from the harmful ultraviolet radiation of the sun and thus helping preserve life on the planet.
