Hindi Diwas Celebrate on 14 September In India

1. The National Hindi Divas will be observed on 14th September every year across the country.
2. The celebration of Hindi Diwas is marked by awarding of prizes for excellence in various fields eg.:-

• Implementation of Official Language Policy;
• Original Hindi Book-Writing in the professional domain by the professionals concerned;
• Hindi book-writing on subjects of Science and Technology, including scientific and technological subjects of contemporary interest etc.

3. The prizes under the category of Implementation of Official Language Policy are awarded to the Ministries/ Departments of Govt. of India, Public Sectors Undertakings, Nationalised Banks & Financial Institutions, and Autonomous Bodies/ Corporations/ Boards.
