Facebook To Build First Data Center In Asia (Singapore), Worth Rs 7190 Crore


1. Facebook announced plans to build it's first Asian Data Center in Singapore, Wednesday.
2. According to Facebook, it will spend USD 1 billion (Rs 7190 Crore approx.) to construct it's first Data Center at Tanjong Kling in the west of Singapore.
3. The project will cover 1,70,000-square-meter area (1.8-million-square-foot), and it provides 100's of jobs in Singapore.
