- The Man Booker Prize, is a literary prize awarded each year for the best original novel written in the English language and published in the United Kingdom.
- According to the Booker rules, the prize must not be divided. But the Judges insisted they could not separate Margaret Atwood - 'The Testament' and 'Girl, Woman, Other' by Evaristo, who is the first black woman to win the prestigious award since its creation in 1969.
