India-Japan 'Dharma Guardian' Joint Military Exercise to begins at Vairengte


  • Indo-Japan 'Dharma Guardian' Joint Military Exercise will be conducted at Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School, Vairengte (Mizoram) from 19th October to 2nd November 2019.
  • The Armies of India & Japan will participate in the 'Dharma Guardian' exercise with an aim to share experience gained during various Counter-Terrorism Operations.
  • Exercise 'Dharma Guardian' is a yearly training event which is being conducted in India since 2018.
  • The Scope of this exercise covers platoon level joint training on Counter-Terrorism operations in the Jungle and Urban scenarios.
