Railway police launched a new Website & Mobile app

Union Minister of State in PM Modi cabinet Mr. Nityanand Rai (age 53 years) has launched a new Railway Police website- railways.delhipolice.gov.in, and a Mobile app - Sahyatri at NDMC Convention Center Delhi.
The database of criminals, including their photographs, active in railways’ jurisdiction all over India would be uploaded on the Railway police’s website.
It will also have the facility to scan and read QR codes and make an emergency call.
'Sahyatri' app will help railway passengers find out the jurisdiction of a police station and the details of GRP officials by geotagging with Google Maps.
