Philatelist Krishna Kadekodi dies at age 102

Centenarian philatelist and Coin collector Krishna Gopalkrishna Kadekodi died at his residence in Belagavi, Karnataka. He was 102 years.
Krishna Kadekodi collected Rare Stamps and He owned the first Victoria Stamp (1854). On his 90th birthday, the USA had released 41 Cents Stamp in his honor.
He was awarded Gold Medal from the Indian Government for having a unique collection of Mahatma Gandhi Stamps released by 64 countries.
He was the First Tehsildar of Panaji after the liberation of Goa from Portuguese occupation.
