Anupam Kher resigns as the chairman of FTII


  1. Anupam Kher has resigned as the chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) due to professional commitments.
  2. Kher said it would not be fair on his part to hold a position of such responsibility and accountability, without being actively involved in the operations.
  3. His resignation letter has been accepted by Information and Broadcasting Minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who thanked Kher for his services to the premier institute.
