- The West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has announced his retirement from international cricket. Bravo, in his retirement note, said that while he has maintained his passion for the game throughout, he has accepted that it has time to move on.
- Bravo, who played for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL for several seasons, last played for the West Indies team in September 2016.
- The West Indian cricketer had first worn the maroon cap in July 2004 against England at the Lord's Cricket Ground. The 35-year-old played a total of 270 internationals- 40 Tests, 164 ODIs, 66 T20Is between 2004 and 2016.
