India’s longest Bridge will be built in Assam on Brahmaputra river


  • India’s longest river bridge of 19.3 Km length will be built in Assam on Brahmaputra river. It will connect the Dhubri district of Assam to Phulbari of Meghalaya state.
  • This bridge will be 4-lane, and it will reduce road travel by 203 kilometers and also travel time. with the help of this bridge, Assam and Meghalaya will be connected by NH127B.
  • At present, India's longest bridge with the total length of 9.15 Km is Dhola-Sadia bridge in Assam.
