- The Global Bio-India Summit will begin in New Delhi. It will be one of the largest biotechnology stakeholders conglomerate to be held in India for the first time.
- The Secretary of Department of Bio-Technology Dr. Renu Swarup said that it will bring academia, innovators, researchers, startups, medium and large companies together on the same platform.
- Over 3,000 delegates from around 25 nations and over 15 states of India will participate in the event.
