Lt. Colonel Gotabhaya Rajapaksa pledge as new Sri Lankan President

Lieutenant Colonel Gotabaya Rajapaksa has been elected as the 8th President of Sri Lanka. He replaced former President Maithripala Sirisena for a 5-year term.
Lt. Colonel Gotabhaya took oath as a new Sri Lankan President at a ceremony in An.uradhapura.
In the Sri Lanka presidential election, Rajapaksa gets 52.25% votes, While Sajith Premadasa had secured 41.99% votes.
