Akil Kureshi appointed as Chief Justice of Tripura High Court

Akil Abdulhamid Kureshi (age 59 years) appointed as the new Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.
The Governor of Tripura Ramesh Bais administered him the oath of office and Secrecy at Rajbhavan, Agartala.
Prior to this, Akil Kureshi served as the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court (2004-18) and Bombay High Court (2019-19).
