Rezwana awarded prestigious ICCR Alumni award

Bangladeshi singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya honored with the prestigious ICCR Alumni award at a function held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The award was presented by Riva Ganguly Das in a musical function organized by the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC).
She has also established a school 'Surer Dhara' in Bangladesh to carry forward the Guru-Shishya tradition as practiced in Shantiniketan.
The award instituted in 2015 to recognize foreign students who have studied in various Indian Universities under the ICCR sponsored scholarship schemes and made an exemplary contribution in varied fields.
