Nilam Sawhney becomes new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointment of Nilam Sawhney as the new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh state.
She is an IAS Officer (1984 Batch) and becomes the first woman Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh.
She replaced Neerabh Kumar, who had to hold additional charge as the Chief Secretary, following the sudden transfer of LV Subramanyam.
