Pavan Kapoor appointed as next India's Ambassador to UAE

Pavan Kapoor (IFS: 1990 batch cadre officer) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He replaced Navdeep Singh Suri, who retired in October month.
Prior to this, he served as India's Ambassador to Israel. He has also served as India's High Commissioner to Mozambique and Swaziland from Jan 2014 to Feb 2016.
