Sanjiv N. Sahai appointed as Power Secretary

The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) appointed Sanjiv N. Sahai as Secretary, Ministry of Power. He is an IAS officer of 1986 batch.
He replaced Subhash Chandra Garg, who retired on 31st October 2019.
Prior to taking up this assignment, he was serving as the Special Secretary and Additional Secretary (May 2018 to July 2019) in the Ministry of Power.
