- The 35th edition of the ASEAN Summit began from 31st October to 4th November 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha (age 65 years) inaugurated the 2019 ASEAN Summit at the IMPACT convention complex.
- The theme of the ASEAN Summit is 'Advancing Partnership for sustainability'.
