Karen Khachanov wins 2018 Rolex Paris Masters Men's Singles title


  • In Tennis, Karen Khachanov (age 22 years) has lifted the Paris Masters Men's Singles title with a stunning win over world number two Novak Djokovic.
  • In the title clash last night, the 22-year old unseeded Russian defeated Djokovic in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4 to end the Serb's 22-match unbeaten run.
  • With the victory, Khachanov has become the first Russian since Nikolay Davydenko in 2009 to win a Masters 1000 title.
  • 31-year old Djokovic, a 14-time Grand Slam champion, will still overtake Rafael Nadal at the top of the world rankings today.
