GST collections in October month cross Rs 1 lakh crore mark

GST collections have crossed Rs 1 lakh crore mark in October this year.
In September, the revenue from goods and services tax was 94,000 crore rupees.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the success of GST is lower rates, lesser evasion, higher compliance, only one tax and negligible interference by taxation authorities.
