Each year on 11th May National Technology Day is celebrated across India to signify the glorious achievements of Indian science and technology.

History,
The day is a significant milestone in the history of India’s technological innovations as India successfully tested nuclear bombs in Pokhran on 11th May 1998 and is commemorated every year by honoring the architects of such innovations. India had conducted 6 underground nuclear tests at Pokhran Test Range in Rajasthan, on 11th and 13th May 1998.
