The World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) is celebrated on 9th May every year across the world to raise awareness and highlight the need for the protection of migratory birds and their habitats.

The theme for the 2020 World Migratory Bird Day is 'Birds Connect Our World'. And, the theme for the 2019 World Migratory Bird Day is 'Protect Birds: Be The Solution To Plastic Pollution!' and will put the spotlight on the impact of plastic pollution on migratory birds and their habitats.
