- The 2020 Pulitzer Prize is announced today. The three Indian photographers from J&K UT Channi Anand, Mukhtar Khan, and Dar Yasin of The Associated Press won the Feature Photography award for their coverage of J&K lockdown.

The Pulitzer Prize is an award for achievements in newspaper, magazine and online journalism, literature, and musical composition in the United States. It was established in 1917 by provisions in the will of Joseph Pulitzer, who had made his fortune as a newspaper publisher, and is administered by Columbia University.
The Pulitzer Prize is awarded yearly in 21 categories in journalism and the arts, and each winner receives a certificate, a gold medal, and a cash prize of $15,000.
