Former Judge A. K. Tripathi passed away due to COVID-19

Former Judge Ajay Kumar Tripathi passed away on 2nd May 2020 due to COVID-19. He had done his graduation in Economics with Hons. from Shri Ram College of Commerce and studied law from Delhi University. He started his career as an advocate in 1981 at Patna High Court.
After-that, he took the charge of Additional Judge Patna High Court in 2006 and take oath as a Permanent Chief Judge in 2007.
He was appointed as the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court in 2018. Besides, he was sworn as a Judicial Member of Lokpal of India on 27th March 2019.
