- Joko Widodo (age 57 years) has been re-elected as the 17th President of Indonesia, beating former general Prabowo Subianto (age 67 years).
- The elections commission said Mr. Widodo and his vice-presidential running mate Ma'ruf Amin (age 76 years) won the election by a 55.5% to 44.5% margin over Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno (age 49 years).
