Uncontested Speaker Mr. Ramesh Kumar was Elected, in Karnataka


Prior to the majority of Kumaraswamy government's trial in Karnataka, the Congress-JDS coalition got great relief. BJP withdrew its candidature for the post of Speaker and after that Ramesh Kumar of the Congress was elected as a speaker of the assembly. The newly-elected Chief Minister, H.D. Kumaraswamy, will face a floor test in the day.

He is a Congress MLA from Srinivaspur. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy thanked the opposition for being elected uncontested Speaker of assembly Mr. Ramesh Kumar and BJP leader Yeddyurappa congratulated him for this regard.
