Coaching Center will Have to Give 18% GST

The Coaching Center, which prepares students for the entrance examination, will have to give 18 percent GST. The Authority for Advanced Routing (AAR) has cleared this. An application was filed in front of the Maharashtra Bench of AAR. It was asked whether services related to providing coaching for entrance exams would come under the purview of Goods and Services Tax GST? While clarifying the picture on this, the AAR said that it will come under the purview of GST and it will be 18 percent GST.
