Gina Cheri Haspel is an American intelligence officer currently serving as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. She is becoming the first woman to hold the post. She had been previously the Deputy Director under Mike Pompeo at the beginning of the Trump administration. On May 17, 2018, she was confirmed as the CIA Director, making her the first female CIA Director in history.
