A peon from the Andhra Pradesh Transport Department has purchased 18 plot and 50 acres of farmland. The officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) were stunned to see the papers of nearly Rs 100 crores near the peon of a mere 40 thousand rupees a month. The central probe unit of the ACB arrested him from Nellore.
Narsingh Reddy, 55, who works as a subordinate less attendant in the office of the deputy transport commissioner of Nellore, has a salary of around 40 thousand rupees per month. Recently, when he bought the 18th plot, then ACB officials came under sight.
