1. The border war between India and Pakistan took place on April 8, 1965. This war is also known as the second war of Kashmir.
2. Mangal Pandey was hanged on April 8, 1857. Mangal Pandey was a soldier of Barakpur Regiment of the British Raj. They were crucified for disbanding military discipline and hanging in murder.
3. Bhagat Singh bombarded the assembly on April 8, 1929. On this day, Viceroy had put the public safety bill in Delhi Assembly to make laws. Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt had thrown bombs in the Assembly. Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt used to slogan 'Inquilab Zindabad' and throw the prescriptions too, causing anger in the public. After throwing a bomb in the Assembly, he had handed himself over to the police. In these cases, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt were sentenced to life imprisonment.

8. America has announced to end the "catch and release policy". During the period of waiting for the turn during the court hearing in this policy, illegal immigrants are released from custody.
9. South Korea's former president Park Geun-Hye has been sentenced to 24 years in the case of corruption. Park Geun-Hye is accused of misusing his presidential position and benefitting from his misuse of power behind a curtain.
10. National service for women has been announced for the first time in Qatar. Under the law issued by Amir in Qatar, the period of compulsory military service extended by men has also been increased.
