Noted American singer, songwriter and actor Kenny Rogers passed away at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He was 81. He was best known for country audiences. Besides, In 2013 he was elected to the USA Music Hall of Fame.
In the 1950s, Kenny Rogers began his career with the Houston-based group the Scholars, who first released "The Poor Little Doggie".
