Bangladesh celebrated Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Anniversary on 17th March

Today, Bangladesh celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On this occasion, Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina pays tributes to Mujibur Rahman at his residence in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,
- He was born on 17th March 1920 in Tungipara village of the Gopalganj District of Bengal, India (before independence).
- Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is called as the Father of Nation in Bangladesh.
- He served as the first President of Bangladesh and later as the Bangladesh Prime Minister from 17th April 1971 until his assassination on 15th August 1975.
