Malayalam poet Puthussery Ramachandran passed away at 91

Malayalam poet Puthussery Ramachandran Pillai passed away due to age-related illness. He was 91 years.
He was a member of the Syndicate of Kerala University. Besides, he was also the General Secretary of First World Conference on Malayalam language and Kerala Culture in 1977.
In 1971, he was the Organizing Secretary of the First All India Conference on Dravidian Linguistics.

- In 2014, Bhasha Samman Award by Sahitya Akademi.
- In 2005, Translation Award by Sahitya Akademi.
- In 2009, Fellowship Award by Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
- In 1999, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Overall Contributions, etc.
