- The Union Shipping Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya (age 47 years) has inaugurated the 'RoPax' passenger ferry service from Mumbai to Mandwa. Due to this, Mumbai becomes the city in India to introduce this service to its transport infrastructure.

- It was built in September 2019 in Greece. RoPax carries 200 vehicles along-with 1000 passengers at a time. And, it covers 18 km distance in 45 minutes or 1 hour.
