- Olympic javelin champion Dana Zatopkova passed away at the age of 97. She had won a Gold medal in the 1952 Summer Olympic (Helsinki, Finland) and Silver medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics (Rome, Italy). Age the age of 35, She set a World Record of 55.73 meters in 1958.
