Ranchi University launched its Radio Station 'RADIO KHANCHI 90.4 FM - Aap Sabka Radio'


  • The University of Ranchi launched its own Community Radio Station 'RADIO KHANCHI 90.4 FM - Aap Sabka Radio' on the occasion of International Women's Day.
  • The Draupadi Murmu (8th Governor of Jharkhand) launched the RADIO KHANCHI 90.4 FM of Ranchi University.
    It is the first-ever University Radio Station in the Eastern Zone which is gifted by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. And has been sponsored by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Jharkhand.
  • Its objective,
    - Due to this, University students will be able to receive information about Academic, Cultural, Examination, and other activities and program details.
    - The radio would provide help to students which are spread over a campus of 15 km.
  • About Jharkhand,
    - Jharkhand is the Eastern state of India, which was formed on 15th November 2000 and it shares its border with the states of Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh to the northwest, Chhattisgarh to the west, Odisha to the south and West Bengal to the east.
    - Chief Minister of Jharkhand - Hemant Soren.
