Indian Army's 2020 Pragyan Conclave held in New Delhi


  • The International Seminar of Indian Army '2020 Pragyan Conclave' held at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. It has been organized by the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS).
  • It includes two sessions. Out of which, the first session based on the theme of 'Transformation in the Battlespaces'. And, it focused on the changing form of 21st-century battlespace with special reference to implications of firepower and other force multipliers.
  • Whereas, the 2nd session based on the theme of 'Hybrid/ Subconventional Warfare'. Where-in the speakers deliberated on the contemporary challenges such as operations in the Grey Zone environment, urban warfare, non-state actors as well as the salience of technology and social media in these operations.
  • Over the course of two days (4th to 5th March 2020), intensive discussions and deliberations were carried out over four sessions under four distinct themes.
  • The event brought together international and national domain experts on a single platform with healthy participation from the three Services, Central Armed Police Forces, leading Think Tanks & Academic Institutions.
