India's first 'Restaurant on Wheels' launched at Asansol Railway Station

Indian Railway launched its first 'Restaurant on Wheels' at Asansol Railway station in West Bengal for the use of Railway passengers as well as the general public.
The Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Babul Supriyo (age 49 years) unveiled the Restaurant on Wheels, which was developed by refurbishing two over-aged MEMU coaches.
He also inaugurated two new AC Retiring Rooms and Electronic Reservation Chart Display System and a Battery-operated Car at Asansol Railway Station.
