Nobelist Amartya Sen Awarded with Oxford University Bodley Medal

Current Affairs 30-31st March 2019. Indian Nobelist Amartya Sen (age 85 years) has been awarded the prestigious Oxford University Bodley Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the University of Oxford's world-famous Bodleian Libraries.
The Bodley Medal is awarded to individuals who have made "outstanding contributions to the worlds of communications and literature".
The previous winners of Oxford University Bodley Medal are physicist Stephen Hawking, novelist Hilary Mantel, and inventor of the World Wide Web Tim Berners-Lee.
