- Current Affairs 27th March 2019. Indin has successfully tests 'Anti-Satellite Missile' capability by shooting down a live satellite on a Low Earth Orbit and joins the elite group of four along with US, Russia, and China.
- PM Modi said this Mission Shakti operation was a difficult target to achieve which was completed successfully.
- Mr. Modi said, with this, India has registered herself as a space power today and till now only the US, Russia and China have achieved this. Now India is the 4th country to achieve this feat.
