Festival of Colours 'Holi' being celebrated in Kathmandu, Nepal

Current Affairs 20th March 2019. The festival of colors 'Holi' is being celebrated with gaiety and enthusiasm in Kathmandu valley and several hilly districts today.
Holi is also known as Fagu Purnima in Nepal. Revelers including young, old and children celebrating the festival by smearing colorful powders and throwing colors at each other.
In the Tarai region, Holi will be celebrated tomorrow. President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in separate messages, have extended their best wishes to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of the festival.
