17th Lok Sabha Elections to be held in 7 phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019


  • Current Affairs 11th March 2018. The largest festival of democracy in the world will begin from 11 April when India goes to polls to elect the 17th Lok Sabha Elections of the country. 90 crore electorates of 29 states and 7 UTs will elect 543 Lok Sabha members in 7 phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019.
  • The 1st phase of general elections will be held on the 11th of next month, the 2nd phase on 18th April, and 3rd on 23rd April.
  • The 4th phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held on 29th of April, 5th phase on 6th of May, 6th phase on 12th of May.
  • 19th May is the date for the 7th and last phase of polling. The counting will be held on the 23rd of May.
