Prime Minister Inaugurates Ordnance Factory in Amethi

PM Modi has inaugurated an Ordnance factory in Amethi to manufacture AK 203 rifles, the latest version in Kalashnikov series with Russian collaboration.
Prime Minister said these Rifles will help our security forces to tackle terrorists and Naxals more effectively.
The AK 203 rifles will replace the Indian Army’s in-service INSAS and AK-47 rifles, around 7,50,000 units of the latest version of AK-47 rifles will be manufactured in the new unit.
