Hamilton Takes the Record of the 7th Pole at the Australian Grand Prix


Mercedes-Benz driver Lewis Hamilton set an exciting time for his last qualifying round to occupy the pole position at the Australian Grand Prix in the season for a record seventh time, ahead of his nearest rival Kimi Raikkonen by a significant 0.664 seconds. Defender of the "Formula 1" set the time in 1 minute, 21,164 seconds on the Albert Park, breaking a tie with Ayrton Senna for most poles of the Australian GP. This is the 73rd pole of Hamilton's career.
