Pankaj Advani defended his Asian Billiards title by destroying his practice partner B Bhaskar 6-1 in a top-level bout in Yangon, Myanmar. With this victory, Advani remains the ruling Indian, Asian and world champion in billiards for 2017-18. This is the 11th gold medal of Advani at the Asian level of cue sports. Amiya Kamani from India won the Asian Women's Snooker title, releasing her Thai opponent Siripaporn Nuantahajan at 3-0.
