Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious plan has approved the National Health Protection Scheme i.e. Ayushman India on Wednesday evening by the central cabinet. This plan was announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the General Budget this year. This plan is also called ModiCare.The Cabinet also agreed to continue the National Health Mission. The scheme will run until March 31, 2020, and the central government will spend Rs 85,217 crore for this.
