Whatsapp is a very popular instant messaging app all over the world, including India. There are more than 1 billion users. The Indian Army has issued a warning about it. Whatsapp users have been told to stay alert on social media because Chinese hackers are stealing personal data by targeting Indian users.
Indian Army has tweeted on its official Twitter account on micro-blogging website Twitter. It reads, "Stay alert, stays alert, stays safe. Indian Army Social Media encourages fair and systematic account. Hacking is on the horizon, for those who are inattentive. Always check your social media. Be careful about personal and group accounts.
